Parc de la Ciutadella
Park across the street from our dorms where we've taken to taking leisurely strolls through. Love the tree. The picture of us looks like we're in Bangladesh.

La Rambla
Where shopping was the order of the day on this famous street. Fariha conducted extensive research prior to arriving in Barcelona, and learned that La Rambla is also famous for its pickpocketers. We found that the side streets are where the real treasures are. La Rambla mostly has souvenirs shops, restaurants and street performers. The souvenir shops are ALL owned by desi's which was interesting. The man in gold was an AMAZING performer. Fariha had to hold Fasiha back when she tried to take a photo with him.
We walked through a produce market and had some delicious ice cream. Fasiha had to control her gag reflex when she smelled all the fresh meat. Fariha was amazed by the candy stalls.

Barcelona, We Are Home!
After our AMAZING time in Madrid we were very excited to come back to Spain. Our day started off very early at the airport - to be exact we were at the airport 6 hours before our flight because the dorm kicked us out in the morning. We spent the first half of the day outside of the airport with all of our luggage because we were so early the airport could not check us in. The flight was pretty uneventful. We landed and a very nice cab driver brought us to our new dorm. The new dorms are loft style, which means that we have our own bathrooms and kitchens!
